OUTCAST
Outcast
An outcast
A constant reminder back in school.
How I taught people saw me.
True or false, from the people
I did not know.
Felt invisible sometimes
Around girls, boys, inner circles, division
Weirdest people called me weird
Felt disowned, because I did not belong
But it's been long, since I heard their song
Moved to another part of town
New people I've met and yet to meet
Some see and see me for me
Others feel disgusted by my shadow
Reflected on the path were they trod
But I've learnt, I've heard, I've accepted
From the minds of the wise
An outcast, is different from the rest
I'm an outcast, for a good course
Destined for greatness.
This poem basically talks about transition, which is a period of change, from one state or condition to another.
It talks about my experience from the past and now, my observation with people , how people are, what they are capable of doing and how I overcame.
The truth of the matter is, people will always be people regardless.
So I had to help myself to channel negative energy to a positive one.
People will always find something against you to bring you down.
It's up to you to decide to step up or allow people to step all over you.
With the same people, you will find people who understand you, relate to you and most importantly support you to be the best version of yourself.
GOD made you for a reason, to fulfil his purpose.
ALL IS NOT LOST, THERE'S STILL LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEl
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, CHRIST AT THE CENTRE OF IT ALL.
BYE FRIENDS.......💕
