It is a word spoken out

To the understanding of the ear

It is spoken out to bring peace

Or to bring chaos

It is photographed through the mind

Virtualize through the eyes!

Brought out of the mouth

That voices out the morphemes

To words

To a simplified phrase

Of a clause

Of a sentence

Which is mixed up like the making of a cake

With all necessary ingredients needed

To form language to make sense

Or not

It is words spoken by a group of people

It is said to join souls together

It speaks everything

It spreads everywhere

All at once

It can be in a form of music that pleases the ear.

It can change the perception of one's mind.

Language can connect one to the physical

 and spiritual realms.

It can draw thee closer to the Supreme being

Language bridges the gap between earthy

 struggles and heavenly solace.

It orders the Sun to rise and set and tells the

 moon to come in

It names the stars and unites them in mysteries

 and wonders

A common mind

A common sound

Language can bless or curse 

Language can form

Language can deform

Language can transform

It creates and destroys

It tears down kingdoms and unites them

Language like fire is a good servant but can be

a bad master too

It's like a city set on a hill

It speaks wisdom and mysteries

Language illuminate, it makes the 

crooked paths straight

It mends the tattered hearts

It inspires

It radiates

Language has energy

It has power

It has the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, 

to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble

Language can motivate

It can deflate

Language is powerful.

It has the power to inspire,

It has the power to encourage

It has the power to appreciate

It has the power to heal

It has the power to turn the impossible into 

the possible

Language determines where one is from

Language is formal and informal

Showing respect in different forms 

and variations

In culture

Language speaks to the heart of men

It creates a good connection and bond

Like Britain and the King 

A pen to a paper

Language is love

It is cunning

With twists and twirls

It sweeps people of their feet

It is an expression

It gives words of affirmation

It aids the act of service

Language helps to love, love and beloved 

The language of the body, a silent art 

it can be sensual and abusive

It can speak love and harm

Its abuse stains the psychological

Emotionally seeping through the pores 

of the soul

Language is war

Like the echoes of Yaa Asantewaa

The warrior Queen

The Woman King

Reverberating courage, strength,

 and leadership

Battling for freedom’s anthem

Language was a divine disruption

Confusion settling upon the people 

when they disobeyed God

The human pride in them took over

The building of the tower of Babel
